Who this policy covers
Data Chasing is a marketing agency for home service businesses, run by Nick Eaton from Miami, Florida. This policy covers datachasing.com and the details you send through it. It does not cover other websites this site links to; those have their own policies.
What Data Chasing collects
Data Chasing collects only what you choose to send, plus the basic technical data any website receives.
- The form on the homepage. Your name, phone number, email address, business name, trade and city, and an optional message about what you need help with.
- Booking a call. If you book on the booking page, the calendar asks for your name, phone and email, plus any question it puts to you. If you filled in the form first, your name, phone and email are carried over so you do not have to type them twice.
- Visit data. A tracking script from our CRM provider, GoHighLevel, records which pages you visit on datachasing.com. If you later submit the form or book a call, that visit is attached to your contact record so Nick can see which pages brought you in.
- Connection data. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes the standard data every web request carries: your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested.
This site has no accounts, no logins, and takes no payments.
Cookies and browser storage
Data Chasing's own code sets no cookies. Two things do touch your browser:
- When you submit the form, your name, phone and email are held in your browser's session storage for up to 30 minutes so the booking calendar can be pre-filled. The entry is removed once it is used, when it expires, or when you close the tab. It is never placed in a web address on this site.
- GoHighLevel's tracking script and booking calendar may set their own cookies or identifiers to recognize a returning visit. Your browser settings can block or clear them.
How the information is used
- To answer your request and put together the free plan you asked for.
- To call or text you back about it.
- To schedule, confirm and remind you about a call you booked.
- To keep a record of the conversation in the CRM so nothing gets lost.
- To see which pages bring in inquiries, so the site can be improved.
- To run, secure and maintain the site.
Data Chasing does not use your information for anything unrelated to your request, and does not sell it.
Text messages
When you submit the form with your phone number, you agree that Data Chasing may call or text you at that number about your request. Texts may include a reply to your inquiry, help finding a time for your call, confirmations and reminders for a call you booked, and follow-ups if you could not be reached. Some texts may be sent automatically by our CRM software.
- Message frequency varies with your request. There is no fixed schedule.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop texts, reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation text and nothing further.
- For help, reply HELP to any message, or email nickeaton@datachasing.com.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. Agreeing to texts is not required to buy anything from Data Chasing.
- Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or lead generation purposes.
Who receives the information
Two service providers process what you send, and only to do their jobs for Data Chasing:
- GoHighLevel (also seen as LeadConnector), the CRM that stores form submissions and bookings, runs the tracking script and the booking calendar, and sends Data Chasing's texts and emails.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this site.
No advertising pixels, no analytics services beyond the CRM tracking described above, and no data brokers. Data Chasing does not sell your personal information and does not share it with anyone else for their own marketing. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or lead generation purposes. Information may be disclosed if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or Data Chasing's legal rights.
How long it is kept
Data Chasing keeps your details for as long as the conversation or the working relationship lasts, and afterwards only as long as they are needed for ordinary business records or as the law requires. Ask at any time and they will be deleted.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to end texting.
- Ask by email or phone to stop calls.

Nothing on this site requires you to hand over information to read it.

This site is for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. Data Chasing does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think that has happened, email and it will be removed.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and your details are stored with established providers. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.
